Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Standing/Reach Truck Forklift Operator/Material Handler to join our dynamic warehouse team. Responsibilities Safely operate forklifts, reach trucks, clamp trucks, Hi-Lo lifts, pallet jacks, and other heavy equipment to load, unload, and transport materials throughout the warehouse. Execute order picking using manual handling techniques and order picker equipment to fulfill customer orders accurately and efficiently. Manage shipping and receiving processes by verifying inbound and outbound shipments against documentation and ensuring proper placement or dispatch. Maintain warehouse organization by stacking pallets, arranging stock on shelves, and ensuring proper storage according to safety standards in production. Conduct routine equipment inspections and minor repairs to ensure machinery remains in optimal working condition; report mechanical issues promptly. Support warehouse management system (WMS) data entry for inventory tracking, order processing, and stock movements with accuracy. Adhere strictly to OSHA safety standards and warehouse safety protocols to prevent accidents and promote a safe working environment. Assist with manual handling tasks involving heavy lifting or materials that require mechanical assistance while following proper lifting techniques. Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to optimize workflow efficiency and improve distribution processes within the facility. Experience No Certification is required 1-2 Years worth of Forklift experience Proven experience operating forklifts such as lift trucks, reach trucks, clamp trucks, Hi-Lo lifts, or pallet jacks in a warehouse or distribution setting. Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) for inventory control and order processing. Experience with shipping & receiving procedures, including verifying shipments against manifests and packing lists. Familiarity with warehouse safety standards including OSHA regulations related to heavy equipment operation and manual handling. Prior work in warehouse distribution environments with exposure to materials handling, heavy lifting, and equipment repair is highly desirable. Ability to perform basic math calculations for inventory counts or measurement tasks accurately. Mechanical knowledge or experience with equipment repair is a plus for troubleshooting machinery issues promptly.
