Job Description

Job Summary The Material Handler position is an important part of our Supply Chain team. This person will primarily utilize a forklift for their responsibilities. The work will include, but is not limited to, the receiving, storage, and delivery of important supplies that are used on the production line in the creation of marine furniture: pontoon bench seats, recliners, captains chairs, or other boat seats. This position will also assist in the moving and shipping of finished goods. Personal Attributes Team player mentality Growth mindset Detail oriented Problem-solver Strong work ethic Reliability Job Skills Manufacturing or material handling experience is a must Ability to use small material handling devices like a pallet jack is a must. Plan for every part method is a plus but is not required Forklift experience is required. Ability to operate a forklift in loading trailers. Familiarity with Kanban, FIFO, and inventory management is a plus but is not required Ability to follow standards and procedures Ability to understand and navigate internal delivery routes and schedule Physically able to lift, move, and work with material that can weigh up to 75 lbs. Willingness to be hands-on with materials and utilize processes to learn and adapt Safely navigate a fast-paced work environment. Ability to communicate well with others in a team environment and be able to give and receive feedback in a constructive manner. Willingness to work overtime when required. Compensation 2 week training pay of $19/hr. Starting pay of $21/hr depending on experience. Can earn up to $25/hr. Paid holidays (9 per year) after 3 months Paid time off during scheduled shutdowns after 12 months of employment
