Forklift Operator
  • Warehouse Technician Shift:
    1:45 PM
  • 10:15
PM, Monday-Friday Location:
Medium‑sized manufacturing facility (GMP environment) Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and dependable Forklift Operator to support warehouse operations in a fast‑growing manufacturing environment. In this role, you will be responsible for picking and preparing orders, handling inbound and outbound shipments, and safely operating warehouse equipment—including forklifts and material‑handling tools—to move and organize finished goods. Key Responsibilities Pick and prepare outbound shipment orders accurately and efficiently. Load and unload inbound and outbound freight. Complete, verify, and maintain accurate documentation. Organize finished goods according to FIFO , pick areas, racking systems, and overflow locations. Maintain a clean, safe workspace and follow all GMP and sanitation standards. Operate warehouse equipment such as palletizers, stretch wrappers, dock levelers, and air compressors. Perform and document sanitation and CIL (Clean‑Inspect‑Lubricate) procedures. Identify and report any quality issues or defects. Understand and verify tray coding requirements (UPC, Canadian coding, use‑by dates, etc.). Use the warehouse management system (WMS) to record and track product movements accurately. Required Skills & Experience Minimum 6+ months of forklift operation and warehouse experience. Ability to read gauges and perform basic math (measurements, fractions). Strong computer skills for inventory tracking and WMS usage.
Preferred Qualifications Experience with:
Picking, packing, shipping/receiving, material handling, and production support Sit‑down forklifts, pallet jacks, reach trucks, RF scanners, and other warehouse equipment Inventory control and warehouse documentation Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all warehouse functions.   • 9:45 PM) Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Havre De Grace, MD. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.20
  • $20.20/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
