Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and Skilled Inventory Clerk with Forklift Operating experience to join our dynamic team. This role is essential in ensuring the efficient movement, handling, and storage of materials within the warehouse environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong Forklift Operator experience and a commitment to safety standards. You will be responsible for operating various heavy equipment, managing order picking processes, and supporting shipping and receiving operations to facilitate seamless supply chain functions. Shift Hours and Pay Rate 2nd shift hours 3:30pm-12am but will train on 1st shift for 2 weeks 7am-3:30pm Monday through Friday plus any Saturdays as needed Pay Rate--$19.00/hr to start Responsibilities Operate forklifts to load, unload, and transport materials safely within the warehouse. Perform order picking using RF scanners and other warehouse management systems to fulfill customer orders accurately. Perform daily and weekly physical counts of stock Compare counts to warehouse management system Ability to use barcode scanners and inventory software (WMS or ERP) Maintain compliance with OSHA safety standards through proper equipment operation and hazard awareness. Skills Proven experience in warehouse distribution, order picking, and materials handling and RF scanner Must have minimum 1 year experience operating Sit Down Forklift in warehouse environment Must have minimum 1 year experience operating Cherry Picker Forklift in warehouse environment Must have minimum 1 year experience operating Reach Truck Forklift in warehouse environment Strong knowledge of OSHA safety regulations related to heavy equipment operation. Mechanical aptitude with a solid understanding of warehouse machinery such as pallet jacks and load/unload systems. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely up to 50lbs solo while maintaining attention to detail. Prior experience in shipping & receiving processes within a warehouse setting. Effective communication skills for coordinating with team members and supervisors.
