Job Description

Overview We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced warehouse environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in warehouse manufacturing and a strong understanding of materials handling and safety protocols. As a Forklift Operator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient movement of goods within the facility, contributing to our overall operational success. Duties Operate forklifts, clamp trucks, and pallet jacks to load and unload materials safely and efficiently. Perform order picking tasks using RF scanners to ensure accurate inventory management. Assist in shipping and receiving processes, verifying shipments against packing lists. Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to OSHA safety standards. Conduct routine inspections of heavy equipment and report any mechanical issues. Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to optimize workflow and improve operational efficiency. Handle heavy lifting tasks as required, ensuring proper techniques are employed to prevent injury. Skills Proven experience in warehouse operations, including shipping & receiving and order picking. Familiarity with warehouse management systems for tracking inventory and orders. Strong mechanical knowledge related to heavy equipment operation and maintenance. Ability to operate various types of equipment, including forklifts, cranes, and order pickers. Experience with materials handling techniques to ensure safe transport of goods. Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices within a warehouse setting .
