Our client, an electronics recycling and data destruction company, is looking for a Forklift Operator to join their team in Lincoln Park, NJ. In this role, you will safely operate a forklift to move, load, unload, and transport materials throughout the facility while supporting baling operations, preventive maintenance, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Load and unload materials onto and off pallets, skids, platforms, and lifting devices Transport materials between loading, processing, and storage areas Operate lift beams, swivel-hooks, hoists, and elevating platforms to load, unload, and stack materials Guide bales in and out of the Baler and assist with preparing processed bales for shipment Perform and assist with preventive maintenance on the forklift and examine parts for defects such as breakage and excessive wear Maintain awareness of pedestrians and other vehicles and signal directions or warnings using the horn Maintain current forklift operator certification — bi-annual recertification required Keep work area clean by sweeping 10 minutes before breaks and at the end of each shift Wear all required PPE and notify EH&S of any safety concerns, violations, or equipment needs Adhere to all safety, compliance regulations, and ERI standards at all times

Requirements:

High school diploma or GED preferred 2-4 years of relevant forklift or warehouse experience preferred Good reading, writing, and verbal communication skills Ability to safely lift and carry up to 50 lbs and perform bending, stooping, walking, and overhead reaching Ability to push, pull, squat, twist, and turn without adverse physical injury Strong attention to detail, organized, and able to prioritize multiple tasks
