Job Description
Job Function Responsible to support Purchasing Agent with the receiving, stocking, and shipping of material and equipment deliveries. Responsible for minor facility maintenance tasks. Essential Function Receive and off load shipments of piping, valves, fittings, hangars, support steel, and all other materials utilized daily in the mechanical contracting industry. Receive and off load shipments of all types including all Fazio Mechanical Service materials. Set, stock and store this material and equipment in the outside storage yard or inside our warehouse in an orderly fashion. Protect and cover equipment with tarps or visqueen as necessary to protect from elements. Utilize racks, shelves and bins to maintain orderly storage systems. Fill material order requests presented to the Purchasing Agent(s). Assist Warehouse Manager load requested materials and equipment onto pick up trucks or stake bed trucks. Must possess current Pennsylvania driver's license and agree for company to obtain a copy of your current driving record for review by management. Must have the ability to drive a fork truck lift, climb ladders to access truck beds, and lift heavy boxes and materials Will be required to sweep floors, empty trash receptacles, wash trucks, shovel snow, pull weeds, change light bulbs, and other maintenance tasks associated with facility upkeep. Maintain UPS, Federal Express, and all other courier shipments and deliveries. Enter data regarding work orders into ECO program. Maintain receiving on a day-to-day basis in an efficient manner; noting all overnight orders on delivery forms. Reporting Hours of work are 6:30am to 3:00pm; willingness to work extra hours when needed. Qualifications High School Diploma or GED equivalency Valid Pennsylvania Driver's License, Class B Preferred Driving record acceptable to Management and Insurance carrier Ability to work under deadline pressure and extra hours if necessary, on assignments
