In this vital role, you will serve as the first point of contact for patients, managing appointments, handling administrative tasks, and ensuring smooth clinic operations. Responsibilities Greet patients warmly and professionally, providing excellent customer service at the front desk Schedule, confirm, and reschedule patient appointments using electronic scheduling systems such as curve , open dental and carestream Manage patient check-in and check-out processes accurately, including updating personal and insurance information Verify insurance coverage, process payments, and handle medical billing and collections with attention to detail Maintain accurate medical records, review documentation for completeness, and ensure compliance with HIPAA confidentiality policies Coordinate communication between patients, dental staff, and insurance providers via phone and electronic correspondence Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, typing reports, and managing electronic health records (EHR) systems Requirements Proven setting with strong familiarity with clinic workflows and medical administrative support Proficiency in EMR/EHR systems such as Epic, Meditech, eClinicalWorks, or Athenahealth; experience with electronic health records management is highly preferred Knowledge of medical terminology, CPT coding, ICD-9/10 coding, and medical billing practices including Medicare and health insurance procedures lent phone etiquette with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally in person and over the phone Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, ) and typing accuracy (10-key typing) Bilingual abilities are a plus to serve diverse patient populations effectively Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion while adhering to clinical confidentiality policies Clinic experience in a dental environment is highly desirable but not mandatory; strong organizational skills are essential Embark on a rewarding career where your dedication enhances patient experiences daily.
