Job Description
Job Overview Join our dynamic team as a Warehouse Supervisor and Forklift Operator, where you'll lead efficient warehouse operations while ensuring safety, accuracy, and productivity. This role offers an exciting opportunity to oversee daily distribution center activities, manage inventory control processes, and operate material handling equipment with precision. As a key leader in our logistics environment, you'll motivate your team, implement process improvements, and uphold compliance standards to drive operational excellence. Responsibilities Supervise daily warehouse activities, including shipping, receiving, inventory management, and order fulfillment. Operate forklift and other material handling equipment safely to move materials efficiently within the warehouse. Oversee inventory control procedures using warehouse management systems (WMS) and RF scanners to ensure accuracy and accountability. Lead team members by providing clear instructions, managing workloads, and supporting their development through effective team management and managerial communication. Implement process improvements to optimize warehouse operations, reduce waste, and enhance workflow efficiency using lean management principles. Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and safety standards across all warehouse activities. Coordinate logistics for inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring timely delivery and proper documentation. Qualifications Proven experience in warehouse distribution, warehouse operations, or distribution center management with a focus on process improvement. Valid forklift certification with demonstrated experience operating material handling equipment safely. Strong knowledge of inventory management systems (IMS), warehouse management systems (WMS), and Microsoft Office tools for reporting and documentation. Excellent team leadership skills with the ability to manage personnel effectively in a fast-paced environment. Familiarity with shipping & receiving procedures, materials handling techniques, and heavy lifting safety protocols. Understanding of OSHA safety standards related to warehouse operations and equipment use.
