Order Picker/Forklift Operator 2nd Shift Job Summary We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Order Picker/Forklift Operator to join our team on the 2nd shift. In this role, you will be responsible for efficiently handling materials and accurately picking orders to ensure timely fulfillment. The ideal candidate will possess strong operational skills with material handling equipment and basic math abilities, contributing to a smooth warehouse operation. Responsibilities Operate material handling equipment, including forklifts, safely and efficiently to move products within the warehouse. Pick and prepare customer orders accurately according to order specifications. Handle materials with care, ensuring proper stacking and storage to maintain safety and organization. Use basic math skills to verify quantities, measurements, and order details during picking and loading processes. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols at all times. Collaborate with team members to meet daily productivity goals and ensure order accuracy. Requirements Prior experience operating forklifts or other material handling equipment is preferred. Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately. Strong attention to detail for precise order picking. Good physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects as required. Excellent safety awareness and adherence to warehouse safety procedures. Ability to work effectively in a team environment during the 2nd shift hours. Reliable with a strong work ethic and punctuality.
