00 1st shift 7am-4pm Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and experienced Forklift Operator Cherry Picker to join our dynamic warehouse team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for efficiently operating heavy equipment, including forklifts, clamp trucks, and pallet jacks, to load, unload, and move materials within our distribution center. Your expertise in warehouse distribution, order picking, and materials handling will ensure smooth operations and timely shipments. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a fast-paced environment where safety, precision, and teamwork are paramount. All roles are paid positions that support your growth in warehouse management and heavy equipment operation. Duties Safely operate forklifts, cranes, clamp trucks, and other heavy equipment to load and unload shipments Use RF scanners and warehouse management systems to accurately track inventory and process orders Load and unload materials using pallet jacks, heavy lifting techniques, and mechanical knowledge of equipment Assist with shipping & receiving activities by verifying inbound and outbound shipments Conduct regular safety inspections in compliance with OSHA standards and report any hazards or incidents Support warehouse distribution processes by organizing stock in designated areas and maintaining a clean workspace Qualifications Proven experience operating forklifts, clamp trucks, pallet jacks, and other heavy equipment in a warehouse or construction setting Strong understanding of warehouse distribution, materials handling, and inventory management systems Knowledge of OSHA safety regulations related to heavy equipment operation and warehouse safety protocols Mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot basic equipment issues Prior experience with RF scanners, warehouse management systems (WMS), and order picking procedures Warehouse experience including shipping & receiving, load & unload operations, and order fulfillment Valid certification for forklift operation; additional crane or heavy equipment certifications are a plus Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
