Responsible for the leadership of inventory movement and tracking throughout the warehouse as well as the production floor. This includes moving product with heavy equipment. Partnership with the operations team to ensure that product is where it needs to be when the operations team is needing it so there is no interruption to production. Maintains Food Safety protocol through the labeling, returning, and storage of items in the warehouse.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Follow all health and safety procedure and regulations as dictated by the organization and the state Operate forklift with care and with awareness to people and environment around machine Ensure forklift is properly stored, fueled, cleaned, and ready to operate Perform maintenance on machine as needed Follow and update inventory activity, lists, records, and log all completed tasks Move inventory and materials across facilities Stack and organize large bulk items Remove inventory from trucks or shipping and delivery to proper location Carry inventory for shipping to proper truck Move materials from facilities to workstations, pick-up locations, or other locations Make note and request any damaged parts or replacements needed Submit inventory records and log at close of day Update to daily appointment log Timely distribution of paperwork to and from the warehouse floor Accurate and timely updates to order information BOL generation Driver interaction and manage warehouse driver flow Record shipment/driver dwell time Status board updates Track and trace support, along with data population support Complete inbound and outbound process Email shipment discrepancies Verify shipments according to order (quantity, quality, prices etc.) Collaborate with procurement staff to ensure expected ingredients and materials are covered Collaborate with the warehouse team to upkeep inventory Responsible for ensuring incoming and outgoing products are shipped and received in a manner to meet food safety and quality requirements, reporting of food safety and quality issues to the proper personnel, and proper storage protocols are followed pertaining to allergens and regulatory requirements.
REQUIREMENTS
High school degree or equivalent, preferred license or certification as dictated by the state to operate forklift, required Valid drivers license Able to pass drug test/background check Two (2) years experience working with heavy machinery, forklifts, or other related equipment Physically able to stand, sit, move, squat, walk, and climb during the course of the shift Physically able to lift up to 50 pounds or more Able to work night, weekends, and holidays Able to work in a fast-paced environment Able to work independently
