Warehouse Worker Forklift Operator

Responsibilities Safely operate various types of forklifts, and lift trucks, to load, unload, and move materials throughout the warehouse. Perform order picking using equipment, and other heavy machinery to fulfill customer orders accurately and efficiently. Manage shipping and receiving processes by verifying inbound and outbound shipments, inspecting goods for quality, and documenting all transactions. Maintain proper inventory levels using warehouse management systems (WMS), ensuring accurate stock counts and location tracking. Conduct routine equipment inspections of equipment to ensure optimal safety and performance. Assist with warehouse distribution tasks such as organizing storage areas, stacking pallets safely, and the loading of customers. Follow OSHA safety guidelines diligently during all operations to promote a safe working environment for yourself and colleagues. Experience Proven experience operating heavy equipment such as forklifts, skid loader or similar machinery within a warehouse or distribution setting. Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) for inventory control and order processing. Prior experience in shipping & receiving, order picking, or materials handling is highly desirable. Knowledge of OSHA regulations related to forklift operation and workplace safety standards. Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting tasks and extended periods of standing or walking throughout the shift. Basic math skills for inventory counts, measurements, and documentation accuracy.
