Director of Development Location:
The Woodlands, TX Type:
Full-Time | In-Person Position Summary The Director of Development leads the training, coaching, and professional development of new financial advisors. This role partners with office leadership to deliver onboarding programs, facilitate training, monitor performance, and provide accountability and mentorship to drive advisor growth, productivity, and retention. Key Responsibilities Lead onboarding, training, and development programs for new financial representatives. Facilitate workshops, coaching sessions, and ongoing professional development. Monitor advisor activity, production, and progress toward performance goals. Conduct regular coaching and accountability meetings. Coordinate mentor relationships, joint work opportunities, and business-building support. Collaborate with leadership to improve advisor retention and long-term success. Qualifications Bachelor's degree. 3+ years of experience in financial services, sales leadership, training, coaching, or professional development. Strong presentation, communication, and leadership skills. Proven ability to coach, motivate, and develop high-performing professionals.
