ACDS, Inc ., a respected Non-Profit in Plainview, Long Island, New York, is in need of Day Habilitation Specialists for its Adult Services program. The Day Habilitation Specialist is responsible for providing personal care and skill development training for individuals with developmental disabilities in a manner that maximizes personal choice, rights, dignity and community inclusion. $1,000 SIGN-ON
BONUS FOR ALL NEW HIRES
(For employees working a minimum of 16 hours per week) : $500 awarded upon successful completion of the 90-day introductory period in good standing. An additional $500 awarded after 6 months of employment. Requirements for the Day Habilitation Specialist include: High school diploma or GED. Experience working with individuals who have developmental disabilities. Direct Care experience preferred. Must maintain valid NY State driver's license and maintain a clean driving record.
