What You'll Do:
Research and identify grant opportunities relevant to our mission and programming Write, format, and submit grant applications and required supporting materials Track application deadlines, requirements, and submission status Maintain a log/tracker of grants applied for, pending, and awarded Follow up on submitted applications as needed (status checks, additional documentation requests) Flag any reporting requirements tied to awarded grants Compensation Paid only on grants that are awarded and funded a flat rate per awarded amount in a tiered structure Payment issued within 2 days of funds being received This Is You If You enjoy research and administrative work You are looking for a part time role that will keep you busy You want to be part of a growing organization with mission and purpose that's actually impacting people and making a mark on society You're confident with commission-only pay You're motivated by results, not looking for guaranteed hours You can have fun with the process of sourcing and contributing You manage your own pipeline, deadlines, and workload without needing constant check-ins or oversight You communicate clearly and respect scope You treat this like your own book of business, not a task list someone hands you Not You If You need regular hand-holding to stay on track You'd rather be told what to apply for than go find the opportunities yourself You need to be on the move and can't sit behind a computer You forget details or miss deadlines Experience & Skills Strong research skills. Comfortable digging through grant databases and eligibility requirements Maintain a database with deadlines, statuses and opportunities Excellent written communication and attention to detail Comfortable working independently as a 1099 contractor How to Apply Tell us why this is you.
