The foundation is in place, the member base is growing, and the next chapter requires a leader who can turn a strong studio into a standout business. As General Manager, you are responsible for the studio's performance: revenue, membership growth, retention, team development, local partnerships, and the client experience. You'll lead a team of 8 to 12 Studio Associates, set a high bar for execution, and build a culture where people know what great looks like and are coached to deliver it. You'll also be highly visible on the floor, selling memberships, building relationships with members, and creating partnerships throughout the local fitness, wellness, and business community. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who likes running a business, developing people, and being accountable for results.

Regional Director Direct reports: Studio Associates (8 to 12) Partners with: Lead Nurse on clinical services and IV therapy delivery
Schedule:
Our busiest hours are before work, after work, and on weekends. The General Manager is expected to be present for the hours that matter most, including evenings and weekend coverage. How Success Is Measured Your scorecard centers on four outcomes: Membership growth: net new members, lead conversion, and closing rate
Retention:
renewals, referrals, and long-term member engagement Financial performance: revenue to budget, profitability, and disciplined P&L management Team performance: retention, development, accountability, and a strong leadership bench What You'll Do Build and execute the studio operating plan to achieve revenue and profitability targets Manage the P&L, labor, and controllable expenses with a clear understanding of what is driving performance Use dashboards, sales data, lead activity, appointments, and acquisition sources to identify opportunities and take action Maintain strong operating disciplines and ensure the studio consistently executes against plan Adjust quickly when results, staffing, or market conditions require a different approach Lead a High-Performing Team Recruit, develop, and retain exceptional Studio Associates Create a consistent management rhythm through daily huddles, one-on-ones, coaching, and performance reviews Set clear expectations, give direct feedback, recognize strong performance, and address gaps early Build schedules that support the client experience while meeting labor targets Oversee timekeeping, attendance, payroll, and day-to-day workforce management Develop future leaders so the studio has talent ready for greater responsibility Grow Membership and Revenue Lead from the front in membership sales, consultations, and client conversations Coach the team to convert interest into the right membership or service based on each client's goals Build a strong lead-management culture where every inquiry receives timely, thoughtful follow-up Become fluent in Pause's services, products, features, and benefits so you can sell with credibility and confidence Identify opportunities to increase member engagement, frequency, referrals, and lifetime value Build the Pause Presence in Coral Gables Expand referral partnerships with fitness studios, wellness brands, health professionals, and complementary local businesses Develop corporate relationships that introduce Pause recovery services to local employers and their teams Lead grassroots marketing through events, activations, community outreach, and strategic local partnerships Deepen the relationships already in place while continuously building new ones Partner with the corporate marketing team to bring campaigns to life in ways that resonate locally Deliver an Exceptional Client Experience Build real relationships with members. Know who they are, what they're working toward, and what keeps them coming back Use client feedback and operating data to continually improve satisfaction and retention Partner closely with the Lead Nurse so clinical services integrate seamlessly with the broader studio experience Ensure appointment and POS systems are used accurately and consistently Maintain an exceptional physical environment, with treatment rooms, reception areas, and restrooms held to Pause standards throughout the day What You'll Bring 3+ years of team leadership experience in fitness, wellness, hospitality, retail, or another high-touch service business A demonstrated record of achieving sales goals; membership or recurring-revenue experience is strongly preferred Experience developing B2B referral relationships, corporate accounts, or community partnerships Proven ability to coach people, raise performance, and hold a team accountable while retaining strong talent Business and financial acumen, including the ability to read a P&L, understand performance drivers, and translate numbers into action Strong communication, organization, judgment, and problem-solving skills Comfort operating in a fast-paced environment where you are expected to lead from the floor, not from an office About Pause Pause is a modern recovery brand designed to help people feel and perform better through a combination of advanced technology and time-tested healing practices. Our services include flotation therapy, infrared sauna, cold plunge, cryotherapy, LED light therapy, compression therapy, and IV vitamin infusion. Each is designed to support recovery, reduce stress, and help clients rest, reset, and recharge. Approximately 15 Pause studios are currently open across the network, with additional locations underway. Coral Gables is operated by the brand's largest franchise group, which plans to open 15 or more locations in the coming years. We're building something bigger than a traditional spa. Pause is designed to become part of a client's regular routine, a place they return to because they can feel the difference. For the right General Manager, that creates significant opportunity. You'll have the autonomy to shape a studio, develop a team, grow a local business, and build with a brand that is still early enough for your impact to be visible. How We Support You You won't be running the studio in isolation. Your Regional Director serves as an active coach and business partner, with a consistent weekly operating rhythm and support on performance, people, and growth. You'll also have access to corporate operations, marketing, and training resources, along with hands-on education in recovery science so you can speak confidently about every Pause modality. Physical Requirements This role requires:
