Job Description

Total Compensation:
$135k-$150k Are you a physical therapist or clinical leader with deep orthopedic and surgical know-how, ready to step into a high-impact leadership role? A well-established, multidisciplinary orthopedic and sports medicine practice is looking for a VP of Interventional Pain Management to lead its pain management department and help patients spend less time in pain and more time living their lives. This is a unique opportunity for someone who thrives at the intersection of clinical care and operational leadership - someone who understands surgical case flow, can read imaging like MRIs, and knows how to build strong relationships with surgeons and care teams.
What You'll Do:
Act as the go-to liaison between surgeons, staff, patients, and outside partners to keep everything running smoothly Track performance metrics, identify improvement opportunities, and roll out best practices across the department Serve as the first point of review for incoming surgical cases, compiling clinical data and presenting summaries to surgeons Lead and support the administrative team within the sports medicine/hand department, coordinating schedules and resources Partner with surgeons, physical therapists, and other providers to ensure seamless, continuous patient care Facilitate case conferences and interdisciplinary meetings to keep everyone aligned Monitor patient outcomes and proactively address any barriers to successful treatment Ensure every process meets top clinical, regulatory, and organizational standards
What We're Looking For:
A background as a PT (or similar clinical background) with strong orthopedic/surgical exposure - comfort reading MRIs is a big plus Proven experience collaborating closely with surgeons and multidisciplinary medical teams Administrative or leadership chops - you've managed people, workflows, or both Excellent communication skills and a genuine passion for patient-centered care Willingness to split time between headquarters and practice locations throughout the week
