Team members support a positive, safety-focused atmosphere where athletes can grow in confidence, discipline, and performance. The academy values professionalism, collaboration, and customer service in all interactions with athletes, families, and the broader community. Role Description The General Manager is a full-time, on-site role located in Fairfield, OH, responsible for overseeing daily operations of Cincinnati Gymnastics Academy. This role manages staff scheduling, supervises front-desk and administrative functions, and ensures programs run smoothly and safely. The General Manager monitors facility maintenance, supports compliance with safety guidelines and policies, and addresses member and parent inquiries in a timely, professional manner. Day-to-day tasks include coordinating class and event logistics, tracking enrollment and revenue, supporting marketing and community outreach initiatives, and working closely with coaching staff to optimize athlete and family experiences. The role also involves budget oversight, performance tracking, and continuous improvement of processes to support the academy's growth and reputation. Qualifications Demonstrated experience in operations management, general management, or facility management in a sports, recreation, or service-focused environment. Strong skills in staff leadership, team coordination, and performance management, with the ability to create an inclusive, respectful workplace. Proficiency in administrative and organizational skills, including scheduling, reporting, and using management or CRM software. Customer service and communication skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with athletes, families, staff, and community partners. Basic financial and business acumen, including budgeting, tracking revenue, and supporting strategic planning and growth initiatives. Ability to manage multiple priorities, solve problems independently, and maintain calm, professional judgment in fast-paced situations. Knowledge of or interest in gymnastics, youth sports, or athletic programming is highly beneficial. High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree in Business, Sports Management, or a related field is preferred. Availability to work a flexible schedule, including occasional evenings and weekends, based on program needs.
