We're looking for a General Manager to lead our school and help train the next generation of safe, confident drivers. Join us in our mission of "Saving Lives, One Teen at a Time." Your Mission As General Manager, you'll wear two important safari hats: operations leader and head instructor. You'll oversee the day-to-day success and growth of the school while also delivering engaging classroom and behind-the-wheel instruction aligned with the Jungle curriculum. Key ResponsibilitiesLeadership & Operations Lead daily school operations, ensuring efficiency, service excellence, and alignment with the Jungle Driving School brand. Recruit, train, and supervise instructors and administrative staff. Oversee scheduling, student enrollment, and the overall customer experience. Promote Jungle Driving School through marketing, community outreach, and local involvement. Manage budgets, maintain accurate financial records, and report key performance metrics. Ensure compliance with all applicable local, state, and federal licensing requirements. Student Instruction Assist with delivering classroom and behind-the-wheel instruction using the Jungle training method and Jungle Readiness Compass. Evaluate student performance and provide constructive, confidence-building feedback. Maintain required student records, progress reports, and state documentation. Stay current on road laws, safety practices, and instructional techniques. Create a learning environment that is safe, engaging, encouraging, and fun.

You can adjust to changing schedules, student needs, and unforeseen circumstances and are comfortable driving and instructing in varying conditions.
Passionate About Teaching:
You enjoy helping others learn and want to play a meaningful role in helping young people gain independence and become safer drivers.
Engaging:
You know how to bring humor, humility, and personality into the experience while maintaining high standards for safety and instruction. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. Two years of related experience preferred. Valid driver's license and clean driving record. Experience in teaching, coaching, law enforcement, first response, transportation, or safety is a plus. Physical Requirements This position requires the ability to spend extended periods in a vehicle, safely operate an automobile, stand for prolonged periods while facilitating classroom instruction, and occasionally lift up to 15 pounds. Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a background check, including criminal history, motor vehicle records, and sex offender registry reviews, as well as a drug screening.
