Job Description
The Assistant Property Manager plays a crucial role in executing the approved management plan, with responsibilities spanning management, leasing, marketing, resident relations, maintenance, finance, and overall operation of the designated location. They work in tandem with the Property Manager to uphold Company standards, adhere to applicable federal and state laws, and operate an operationally sound, fiscally responsible, and profitable business. Their efforts are instrumental in fostering a positive and professional client and employee experience. Essential Duties Create and maintain lasting customer service relationships with current and potential residents. Maintain the property's physical appearance and operational function to company standards. Conduct daily inspections of the property and take corrective action as needed. Maintain current market understanding and competitive strategy. Communicate and enforce community rules and policies to achieve desired community culture. Manage budgets, financial reporting, and accounts daily, weekly, or monthly. Maximize occupancy and minimize delinquency. Ensure property and work environment are organized, clean, and safe. Collections monthly. Move-out statements. Managing and following up on Renewals. Resident retention / Ledger questions. Knowing rent Café Yardi ledgers. Waling Vacant Units, Move-outs, Evictions. Ensuring the lease is correct and matches what's in Yardi. Make sure all deposits get to the bank daily. Copies made and sent to Accounting Department.
