Owner Job Overview Mined for Design is looking for an experienced, organized, and hands-on General Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our Rapid City location. We already have established managers overseeing Sales and Customer Experience/Showroom. The General Manager will work alongside these department managers to ensure the entire operation runs smoothly, departments stay coordinated, and ownership has clear visibility into business performance. This position is ideal for someone with countertop and construction industry knowledge who understands how projects move from sales and scheduling through production and installation. Responsibilities Run day-to-day business operations smoothly and efficiently Receive and review reporting from all departments, including Sales, Scheduling, Production, Marketing, and other operations Monitor overall business performance and ensure company goals are being met Work alongside and support existing department managers Coordinate communication between departments Identify problems, remove roadblocks, and make sure issues are resolved Maintain accountability and follow through on priorities Help establish and improve processes and procedures Keep projects and operations moving efficiently Provide regular updates and reporting directly to the owner What We're Looking For Countertop application knowledge and experience Construction industry knowledge and background Previous management or leadership experience preferred Strong organizational and communication skills Ability to manage multiple priorities at once Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills Comfortable working with different departments and managers Self-motivated and able to take ownership of responsibilities Understanding of the countertop process from sales through production and installation is strongly preferred Position Details This is a full-time, in-person position in Rapid City, South Dakota. The General Manager will report directly to the owner and work closely with our existing management team. Excellent pay based on experience.
