RV Park General Manager

We are seeking a high-energy, professional individual to join our team as an RV Park General Manager at our beautiful Deep Lake Campground. The resorts currently consist of RV campsites and vacation rentals. This person must be trustworthy, committed to providing the ultimate experience for our guests, and have a keen eye for the little details. Our company has been growing rapidly and the right individual for this role is very organized, great with people, and comfortable with shifting priorities. The General Manager will be responsible for the operational aspects and the continued profitability of the resort, which will include, but not be limited to administration, activities, marketing, property maintenance and managing staff. This person will be the primary point of contact both in person and over the phone for existing and prospective RV resort residents. The standard hours for this position will be 9am to 5pm, however the manager will also be on call in the event of resort emergencies.
Primary Responsibilities:
Manage all resort operations to ensure the highest level guest experience Respond to guest inquiries and address and solve guest related issues Responsible for implementing and enforcing resort rules and security Accurately post payments, balance payment receipts, and prepare bank deposits Conduct collection efforts for delinquencies Monitor monthly operating budgets, and ensure the resort stays within the budget parameters Work with the facilities manager to ensure all maintenance and mechanical aspects of the property are in good working condition Work with the marketing team to increase occupancy and resort awareness Work with the human resources department for team member hiring, training, and development Assist with capital expenditure projects Provide reports to management as requested Ensure every guest leaves happy Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local agencies that regulate fair housing laws and resort operations Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
High school diploma or GED 2 years experience in property/resort management 2 years experience in a supervisory role General knowledge of property maintenance General knowledge of basic accounting principles Advanced understanding of basic office applications, including Google suite Creative and quick to pivot and think outside the box when challenges arise Driven, results-oriented, and entrepreneurial mindset Reliable, ethical, trustworthy, and high-energy Compensation includes a competitive salary, option to live onsite and benefit package. Benefits include, but are not limited to health insurance, dental, vision, 401(k) with match, profit sharing, and paid time off. If desired, use of an RV site with utilities may be negotiated as an alternative form of compensation in addition to a lower base salary. Days and hours may vary depending on resort needs.
