Job Description
Job Summary:
The Maintenance Inventory Clerk is responsible for managing the inventory of parts and materials. This role focuses on inventory accuracy, procurement, and physical distribution, utilizing maintenance software to maintain real-time data integrity and ensuring the maintenance team has the necessary components for both routine work and special projects. Additional duties may be assigned.Work Schedule:
This position requires flexibility in scheduling. Occasional overtime, weekends, and holidays may be necessary to meet operational demands.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Physically receive all inbound shipments of maintenance parts, tools, and supplies. Verify contents against packing slips and purchase orders. Data entry into maintenance software (Eptura) ensuring accurate counts, cost data, and vendor details are captured. Mark items with identifying codes or scan barcodes to log data into the system, then store materials in the designated locations. Preform regular physical counts of stock and reconcile findings with system records to maintain accuracy. Investigate and report inconsistencies between physical stock and system records. Manage and maintain specific bin locations in software to minimize search time for the team. Monitor par levels in system and initiate orders when stock falls below min. thresholds. Collaborate with department leads to identify and order specialized parts for upcoming projects. Maintain updated vendor contact information, lead times, and pricing within the system platform to streamline the ordering pocess. Pull and stage parts for technicians based on active work orders, recording the usage to maintain accurate stock levels. Travel to local suppliers to pick up urgent or "will-call" parts when immediate availability is required for critical repairs.Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED required Experience in warehouse, stock room, or inventory management preferred.Skills:
Hands-on experience with Eptura of other CMMS systems Strong attention to detail and ablility to manage multiple priorities Must be fluent in Spanish and English (Read and Write) Valid Driver's License and a clean driving record is requiredPhysical Demands:
This position requires lifting/moving up to 50 lbs, and performing tasks that involve standing, and climbing. Must wear required PPE (safety glasses, steel-toed boots, etc. in designated areas. WIllingness to work in various conditions, including exposure to outside weather, loud noise, and moving mechanical parts.Job Type:
