INVENTORY ASSOCIATE JOB TYPE AND CLASSIFICATION
Full-Time Hourly Non-Exempt
JOB OVERVIEW
MAC.BID buys truckloads of customer returns and overstock products, then sells these items individually to the public through online auctions. The Inventory associate ensures that all products are accounted for, either on the shelves or picked up. This position reports to the Removal Team Lead.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Daily scan of all purchased products still on shelves, in order of auction close date Ensure the product is situated on the correct shelves Ensure all items are either properly in the warehouse or scanned as picked up by the customer Review the missing product list to search for missing items Escalate missing product to the general manager if not found Organize/neaten product for easy retrieval (barcodes on outside, product stacked safely) Be proficient with the inventory check interface dashboard Know how auction items are categorized on the shelves, including auction and lot numbers May help with removal if workload dictates Other tasks as assigned by management
QUALIFICATIONS
Availability to work on-site. Schedules may vary Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm, 8-hour shifts with a 30-minute lunch break Must be able to lift 25 pounds alone, 50 pounds with a team lift Must be able to follow written directions and company policies Must be tech-savvy Must be highly organized Must be detail-oriented High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
