Columbus, OH Job Details Full-time 2 hours ago Qualifications Moving Pallet jack Material handling equipment operation Full Job Description Position Summary Are you a dependable, detail-oriented team member who takes pride in keeping products moving accurately and efficiently? Jendco Safety Supply is looking for a Receiving Agent to receive inbound shipments, verify product quantity and condition, and help ensure inventory is ready to support our customers and warehouse operations. This role is responsible for receiving small-package and LTL shipments, processing item receipts, stocking inbound products, and working with Inventory Control to resolve discrepancies. The Receiving Agent also supports inventory counts and other warehouse functions as needed. The ideal candidate is organized, safety-minded, and comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment. They communicate well, work effectively with different personalities, and consistently focus on accuracy, teamwork, and excellent service.
What You'll Do Inbound Receiving:
Receive small-package and LTL shipments in an accurate, timely, and efficient manner.
Shipment Verification:
Verify the quantity and condition of inbound products and identify missing, damaged, or incorrect items.
Discrepancy Resolution:
Partner with Inventory Control to research and resolve receiving discrepancies.
System Processing:
Process item receipts accurately in the accounting system and populate associated backorders.
Product Stocking:
Place inbound products in the proper storage locations.
Inventory Support:
Conduct cycle counts and other inventory counts as needed.
Warehouse Support:
Assist with other warehouse functions and operational priorities as needed.
Work Area Standards:
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
Training Support:
Help train new team members on receiving processes and expectations when needed.
Safety and Accuracy:
Perform all work safely, accurately, and in accordance with company procedures.
Other Duties:
Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned to support departmental and company needs.

Experienced:
