Three generations of our family have worked hard to establish Oregon Berry Packing, Inc. as a quality supplier of the highest quality berries. Oregon's climate and soil give our berries a sweeter flavor than other berry-growing regions. We are looking for an experienced Inventory Lead to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in inventory management and be able to accurately track and manage stock levels. This position requires an individual who is detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment. This Inventory Lead would be responsible for overall inventory management for OBPI's operations team, including fresh fruit inventory, work in progress, materials and supplies and finished product inventory tracking. The inventory lead works closely with plant managers of both plants (fresh and frozen) on warehouse flow planning and inventory tracking processes and procedures. Qualified candidates would have the following skills and abilities: 2+ years of experience in inventory management or a related role. Ability to communicate effectively - both electronically and in person Understanding and ability to work within web-based inventory/WMS/ERP applications Strong computer skills in a variety of applications including mobile applications
Responsibilities:
Weekly reconciliation of materials inventory. Maintain and report daily fruit Inventory - bulk received, WIP, packed Record warehouse location and weight of product received, sorted, packed, culled for secondary markets, and waste Reconcile daily packed fruit and produce daily throughput reporting Maintain and record materials used with daily packout, assist in forecasting weekly materials needs and ordering timelines Keep and maintain inventory and supply needs of masks, PPE, robes, gloves, etc., additional equipment supplies per maintenance, office supplies Notify Plant Managers of potential inventory/supply issues Ensure cull materials are properly tagged and traceability is maintained. Apply pallet tags to soft fruit that is going to processing and enter into bulk inventory system, apply pallet tags to lugs if going to other processor, apply tags to drums according to drum customer. Enter warehouse transfers into system and enter warehouse orders into system
