We are seeking a detail-oriented Purchasing Clerk to manage inventory procurement and build strong supplier relationships. Responsibilities Purchase inventory, supplies, and materials based on company needs. Monitor inventory levels and replenish stock as needed. Research and negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules with vendors. Create and manage purchase orders. Track shipments and resolve delivery or quality issues. Maintain accurate purchasing records and inventory data. Work closely with warehouse, sales, and accounting teams. Identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining product quality. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred. Strong negotiation and communication skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Outlook. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Qualifications Experience in wholesale or distribution is preferred but not needed. Knowledge of supply chain and inventory control principles, preferred but not needed. Forklift certification is a plus. Will train the right Candidate!
