Jockey is hiring Seasonal Part-time Inventory Associate at Coopers Uptown for the upcoming holiday season! A fusion of old and new, we're proud to carry on the retail legacy of the Jack Andrea store with a twist, now owned and operated by Jockey International, Inc. Inventory Associates will typically work 15-20 hours per week, with a focus on weekend availability. What you'll do: Inventory Management
  • Receive, unpack, and sort incoming shipments. Verify incoming shipments against manifests to ensure accuracy. Checking product for flaws and documenting damages. Stock Organization
  • Maintain an organized stockroom by optimizing layouts for efficient product storage and retrieval. Ensure that items are correctly labeled and stored in accessible locations. Restocking
  • Restock shelves and displays in retail areas, ensuring that older stock is rotated to the front to minimize waste. Customer Service
  • Assist with customer inquiries related to stock availability.
Ability to use POS. Willingness to adjust to salesfloor needs. Basic product knowledge.
Inventory Associate Requirements:
16 years of age or older required Strong organizational skills Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills Basic math, data entry, and computer skills Previous experience in a warehouse or stockroom environment is preferred We offer competitive pay, training, amazing product discounts, and a fun work environment! Physical Demands/Working Environment Ability to move 25 pounds Ability to effectively maneuver around sales floor and stockroom, repetitive bending, prolong standing, twisting, stooping, squatting, and ascending/descending ladder to stock and merchandise store Ability to go up and down stairs frequently Ability to work with/around cleaning chemicals
