Job Description

Overview Reporting to the Shipping Supervisor, the Cycle Counter is primarily responsible for inventory cycle counting and associated analysis. This person will perform tasks such as physical counts of inventoried materials and participate in projects related to inventory logistics. 1st Shift - 7AM -3:30pm Responsibilities Compiles and maintains records of quantity, type, and value of material, equipment, merchandise, or supplies stocked in establishment: Counts material, equipment, merchandise, or supplies in stock and posts totals to inventory records, manually or using computer. Compares inventories to office records or computes figures from records, such as sales orders, production records, or purchase invoices to obtain current inventory. Verifies clerical computations against physical count of stock and adjusts errors in computation or count, or investigates and reports reasons for discrepancies. Set up shop floor direct delivery address systems for inventoried materials and assist with material handler training of internal logistics. Ensure compliance with corporate and plant safety standards. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications 2+ years Inventory / Cycle Counting experience in a Production or Manufacturing environment with longevity working for one company a must Fluency reading, writing and speaking English Sharp attention to details Ability to efficiently work in a team and coordinate work with other departments. Aptitude to take orders and execute the same efficiently. High school degree, diploma or a GED equivalent qualification from is accredited institution. Demonstrated detail orientation, self-motivation skills and ability to multi-task. Strong basic math skills. Previous forklift experience. Exposure to a Lean manufacturing environment.
