Overview
CMN, LLC
is seeking an organized, dependable Procurement & Inventory Specialist to support our growing operations team. This position will take an active role in purchasing, purchase order management, inventory control, and material coordination while also providing administrative and operational support across the company. This is a hands-on, multi-functional position for someone who enjoys wearing several hats. While procurement and inventory will be the primary focus, the right person will also assist with employee travel, documentation, Excel tracking, vendor communication, and other day-to-day operational needs. Duties Coordinate purchasing of materials, equipment, tools, and supplies for active projects. Create, obtain, track, and maintain purchase orders (POs) Communicate with vendors regarding pricing, availability, orders, shipments, and discrepancies Maintain accurate purchasing records and supporting documentation Track company inventory, equipment, and material movement Coordinate inventory needs with technicians and project teams Provide evening support from approximately 5:00-8:00 PM for field personnel Assist with receiving, organizing, issuing, and documenting inventory Maintain procurement and inventory trackers using Microsoft Excel and SharePoint with providing daily updates to supervisors Assist with employee hotel accommodations and other travel coordination as needed Work with accounting/operations to ensure purchases and documentation are properly recorded Follow up on outstanding orders, POs, receipts, and other required documentation Provide general administrative and operational support as company needs arise What We're Looking For We need someone who is organized and persistent enough to follow an order from request through delivery at site rather than simply placing it and moving on. This person should be comfortable communicating with technicians, vendors, project managers, and management and keeping documentation current so the status of an order or inventory item can be easily identified. Ideal candidates will have strong Microsoft Excel & SharePoint skills , experience with purchasing/procurement or inventory management, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to manage several priorities at once. Previous experience with purchase orders, vendor management, shipping/receiving, construction, low-voltage, or project-based purchasing would be especially valuable.
