Sales Manager, Service Manager and Used Car Manager

POSITION SUMMARY
Assists the service and/or sales manager in keeping the car lot, carwash and customer waiting area in good condition.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Arrange cars on the lot and ensure car lot is neat and orderly. Fuel cars and do minor maintenance such as, changing windshield wipers, replenishing fluids, etc. Compare vin numbers of incoming cars against invoice. Inspect vehicles to detect damage and to verify the presence of accessories listed on the invoice, such as spare tires and radio and stereo equipment. Record the description of damages and list missing items on the delivery receipt. Assign stock control numbers to cards. Catalog and store keys. Deliver sold vehicles to the new-vehicle preparation department. Park cars and store keys. Always mark parking space number on tag. Wash cars if necessary. Park car. Remove plastic and mat then lock car. Make sure parking, reception and carwash areas are clean and presentable. Pick up trash in service and carwash areas. Keep key tags, mats, early bird envelopes and seat covers stocked. Keep waiting areas clean and presentable. Check waiting area hourly. Restock as needed. Perform monthly new and used car inventory Other duties as assigned.

Ability to read and comprehend job-related instructions and information whether electronic or paper-based. Excellent manual dexterity skills as well as patience and an eye for detail.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee is regularly required to lift up to 25 pounds.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts and fumes or airborne particles. The employee is frequently exposed to outside weather conditions. The employee is occasionally exposed to high, precarious places; toxic or caustic chemicals and risk of electrical shock. The noise level in the environment is loud. Long periods of standing.
