Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Inventory Control Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing inventory levels, ensuring accurate stock counts, and optimizing supply chain processes. This role requires strong skills in data analysis, procurement, and warehouse management to enhance operational efficiency and support business objectives. Responsibilities Monitor completion of production orders compared with production reports Review logistics transactions compared with production data Assist in investigations pertaining to inventory discrepancies Work with supply chain team to ensure customer needs are fulfilled Optimize inventory performance via trend forecasting Responsible for verifying goods receipts for all parts and materials are performed correctly Assist in printing of production orders and documents Work to improve supply chain processes within the organization Verfiy accuracy of production orders once complete Ensure compliance with company policy and procedures Assist in cycle count process Respond to changes in demand and resolve supply chain issues Establish audit sustainable processes within materials management Implement lean material replenishment strategies Support and promote continuous supplier performance and improvements Apply and implement SCM standards, tools and processes to secure quality, delivery, cost and sustainability Communicate stock shortages with planners Assist in adherence to warehouse standards Prepares reports on logistics performance measures Qualifications Proven experience in inventory management or control within a warehouse environment. Strong knowledge of supply chain analytics, procurement processes, and financial analysis related to inventory. Excellent analytical skills with the ability to perform root cause analysis and demand planning.
