Job Description

Position Summary We are looking for a dedicated Inventory Specialist to join our team. In this key role, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our warehouse. The ideal candidate should possess strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to coordinate various warehouse activities for optimal productivity. Key Responsibilities Oversee and coordinate daily warehouse activities, including receiving, storage, and shipping of products. Schedule and plan the allocation of resources to meet operational demands efficiently. Maintain accurate records of inventory levels and report any discrepancies.
WIP Monitoring :
Track status, location, and movement of raw materials and semi-finished goods. Collaborate with other departments to fulfill orders and ensure timely delivery. Implement and enforce safety protocols to create a secure and compliant working environment. Monitor and evaluate warehouse performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement Perform regular physical inventory and cycle counts and reconcile any discrepancies. Communicate effectively with internal team members, carriers, and other external partners. Develop and refine SOPs for warehouse policies and procedures. Other duties as assigned. Skills & Competencies :
Proven experience in warehouse coordination or a similar role. Strong knowledge of warehouse operations and inventory management. Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities. Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and Microsoft Office. Effective communication and interpersonal skills. High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in logistics or supply chain management are a plus. Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy in inventory management. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities. Problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to process improvement. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Must be proficient in Microsoft Suite, especially Microsoft Excel. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment. Forklift Certification required. Must be at least 21 years old and able to pass the NJ CRC Background Check for an agent card. Physical Requirements Must work onsite The role can be physically demanding, requiring the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for extended periods, and perform repetitive tasks in various environmental conditions.
Pay:
$21.00 - $25.00 per hour
