An Inventory or Supply Specialist specializes in tracking and managing inventory and supplies to improve production or distribution at a company or organization. Manages purchase orders, or distribution of materials between different centers of a large company.
1st Shift; 5AM - 3:30PM Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials against purchase orders and delivery documentation. Store materials in designated warehouse locations following inventory management procedures with SAP. Pick, stage, and issue materials, components, and finished goods according to production and customer requirements. Operate forklifts, sideloaders, stackers, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently. Load and unload trucks while ensuring proper handling of materials to prevent damage. Transport materials between warehouse, production, and shipping areas. Perform inventory transactions and maintain accurate records in warehouse management systems Monitor stock levels and report inventory discrepancies or shortages. Ensure materials are properly labeled, identified, and stored. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment following 5S and housekeeping standards. Follow all safety policies, procedures, and quality requirements. Assist with packaging, shipping, and receiving activities as required. Support continuous improvement initiatives within warehouse and logistics operations. Required Qualifications High school diploma or GED. Previous experience in a warehouse, storekeeping, logistics, or manufacturing environment preferred. Experience operating forklifts, sideloaders, stackers, and other material handling equipment. Basic computer skills and experience with inventory management systems. Ability to read and understand shipping documents, material requests, and inventory records. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
Pay:
Up to $18.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
