About the RoleWe're looking for an IT Service Management Asset Coordinator to manage our IT hardware inventory, asset lifecycle, and mobile device management (MDM) environment. This role requires hands-on experience administering Microsoft Intune and ensures our devices, stock, and asset records stay accurate, secure, and audit-ready.
Key ResponsibilitiesTrack IT inventory stock levels, setting minimum/maximum thresholds to balance availability with overstocking.
Perform regular physical counts of IT inventory, reconciling discrepancies with system records and investigating root causes.
Inspect incoming IT shipments for quality, accuracy, and completeness, and coordinate storage or immediate transfer as needed.
Label and record all IT assets and inventory accurately upon receipt.
Maintain accurate lifecycle records for all fixed IT assets, from acquisition through disposal.
Generate regular reports on asset usage, inventory status, and lifecycle events to support planning and decision-making.
Maintain computerized asset and inventory records in designated management systems.
Develop and present inventory and asset reports to management, highlighting key metrics and improvement opportunities.
Administer the Microsoft Intune MDM platform, including device enrollment, policy configuration, and compliance monitoring for all organizational mobile devices.
Manage the full mobile device lifecycle, from procurement and deployment to decommissioning and secure data wiping.
Provide first-line troubleshooting and support for Intune/MDM issues and mobile device functionality.
Ensure mobile device inventory is accurately reflected in asset management systems and compliant with security policies.
Ensure all inventory and asset activities comply with organizational and government-role policies and safety regulations.
Support internal and external audits related to IT assets and inventory.
Inter-Departmental CollaborationLiaise with the IT team to ensure timely, accurate procurement requests for IT assets and components.
Collaborate with Supply Chain and Property departments on proper handling, delivery, and receipt of IT procurements.
Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders on inventory status, availability, and asset-related inquiries.
Required Skills & QualificationsHands-on experience administering Microsoft Intune (device enrollment, policy management, compliance monitoring) required.
Experience administering endpoint devices with NinjaOne(RMM)Proficiency in inventory management practices.
Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly advanced Excel for data analysis and reporting.
Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in tracking and auditing.
Strong written and verbal communication skills for cross-team and cross-department interaction.
Demonstrated ability to clearly communicate procurement needs and status across the organization.
Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
A proactive, solutions-oriented approach to problem-solving and discrepancy resolution.
