Job Description

The Village of Morrisville seeks a full-time position in our Department of Public Works. This position has a wide range of responsibilities directed toward the maintenance of village infrastructure and the delivery of village services. Candidates should be mechanically inclined and able to work without direct supervision. Employee must complete requirements to become certified water treatment plant and distribution system operator (Grade D and IIB). In addition, the right candidate will have the opportunity to obtain wastewater treatment plant operator certification. Preference will be given to individuals within a 20 mile radius of the village with a CDL B. Salary DOE. Benefit package including NYS retirement, vacation, holiday and sick leave.
