Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to join our supply chain team. In this role, you will be the driving force behind efficient transportation, warehouse distribution, and inventory management processes. Your expertise in logistics management, procurement, and data analysis will ensure seamless operations across our supply chain network. Duties Coordinate transportation planning and freight management to ensure timely delivery of goods while optimizing costs and compliance with international trade regulations. Oversee warehouse operations including stocking, shipping & receiving, materials handling, and inventory control using Warehouse Management System (WMS) and ERP systems such as AS400. Manage procurement activities by sourcing suppliers, negotiating pricing and terms, and maintaining vendor management relationships to support supply chain efficiency. Utilize data analysis skills with tools like SQL, Excel data analysis, and Tableau to collect, analyze, and report on supply chain metrics such as demand planning, inventory levels, and process improvement opportunities. Collaborate cross-functionally with production planning, customer service, and trade compliance teams to ensure accurate order fulfillment and adherence to international trade regulations. Conduct root cause analysis for supply chain disruptions or inefficiencies and implement corrective actions to improve process flows. Support warehouse distribution strategies by managing category management initiatives, demand forecasting, and inventory management systems to optimize stock levels. Experience Proven experience practicing in a supply chain operations role with a focus on logistics management, warehouse operations, or transportation planning. Strong knowledge of transportation management systems (TMS), warehouse management systems (WMS), and inventory management systems (IMS). Demonstrated ability in vendor sourcing, procurement negotiations, and freight cost optimization. Familiarity with international trade regulations including trade compliance standards for import/export activities. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Excel for data collection and analysis. Hands-on experience operating forklifts or manual handling equipment is preferred but not mandatory. Excellent analysis skills with the ability to identify root causes of issues within complex supply chain processes and develop effective solutions.
