Quality Control About the Role Westwood Laboratories is a contract manufacturer specializing in beauty, cosmetics, personal care, skincare, and over-the-counter (OTC) products . We are seeking a detail-oriented QC Incoming Inspector to inspect incoming raw materials, labels, packaging components, and printed materials before they are released for manufacturing. We are especially interested in candidates with previous experience in beauty, cosmetics, personal care, skincare, or OTC manufacturing and hands-on experience inspecting packaging, labels, components, or raw materials. What You'll Do Inspect incoming raw materials, labels, bottles, jars, tubes, closures, cartons, and other packaging components. Compare labels and printed materials against approved artwork and specifications. Check packaging for correct dimensions, material, color, print quality, legibility, damage, and defects. Review supplier Certificates of Analysis (COAs) and supporting documentation. Collect samples for laboratory testing when required. Accurately document inspection results and maintain QC records. Place materials into approved, rejected, or quarantine status based on inspection results. Maintain proper sampling, retain samples, identification, and traceability. Work closely with Warehouse, Purchasing, QA, and QC to resolve material or supplier issues. Follow applicable c

What We're Looking For High school diploma or equivalent required. 1-2+ years of QC, incoming inspection, packaging inspection, or similar manufacturing quality experience. Beauty, cosmetics, personal care, skincare, OTC, or pharmaceutical manufacturing experience strongly preferred. Experience inspecting labels, packaging components, printed materials, or raw materials highly desirable. Knowledge of cGMP, GDP, and quality inspection practices. Ability to read specifications, COAs, approved artwork, and inspection requirements. Strong attention to detail, documentation, and organizational skills. Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing and warehouse environment. You understand the importance of accurate documentation and can work collaboratively with Warehouse, Purchasing, QA, and QC. Physical Requirements Ability to stand, walk, and bend frequently and lift up to 30-50 lbs. Must be comfortable working in warehouse and laboratory environments with required PPE.
