This position ensures optimal utilization of materials, resources, and personnel to meet project deadlines, quality assurance standards, and compliance with industry regulations. The Aerospace Account Manager serves as a key liaison between cross-functional teams, driving efficiency and delivering exceptional results in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Core Responsibilities:
Production & Operations Planning:
Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive production schedules. Coordinate workflows across teams, identify capacity bottlenecks, and proactively mitigate risks to ensure seamless operations.
Scheduling & Coordination:
Collaborate with engineers, suppliers, and production teams to streamline workflows, resolve potential delays, and guarantee on-time delivery of aerospace components and products.
Technical Interpretation:
Analyze and interpret aerospace manufacturing drawings, complex specifications, and technical requirements to guide informed planning and operational decisions.
Resource Allocation:
Strategically manage the allocation of materials, equipment, and labor force to support project timelines, meet production milestones, and achieve top-tier quality benchmarks.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Partner with engineering, procurement, and quality assurance teams to align production strategies with compliance, technical specifications, and operational objectives.
Compliance and Standards:
Ensure all planning, coordination, and execution activities align with aerospace industry regulations, safety protocols, and stringent quality standards.
Skills & Qualifications:
Technical Proficiency:
Expertise in manufacturing planning tools, ERP systems (e.g., JobBOSS), and aerospace-specific applications (e.g., Exostar Portal).
Analytical Acumen:
Strong ability to assess production forecasts, analyze capacity constraints, and implement solutions to optimize workflows and maintain efficiency.
Communication & Teamwork:
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to coordinate and negotiate effectively with cross-departmental teams, stakeholders, and external suppliers. Attention to
Detail:
Meticulous approach to scheduling, planning, and documentation to ensure accuracy and minimize errors.
Problem-Solving:
Demonstrated ability to identify and address challenges dynamically, implementing actionable solutions to maintain project continuity.
Experience Requirements:
A minimum of 3-5 years' experience in aerospace manufacturing, production planning, or program management, with a proven record of successfully managing complex projects in high-stakes environments.
