Job Description

Logistics & Shipping Associate - Aviation Bonus Tech - 3.0 Doral, FL Job Details Full-time $17 an hour 8 hours ago Benefits Health insurance Dental insurance Paid time off Life insurance Qualifications Packing Forklift Warehouse experience Materials handling Pallet jack Full Job Description Position Overview Bonus Tech Inc. is looking for a dependable and motivated Logistics & Shipping Associate to join our aviation operations team in Miami. This role supports the daily movement, receipt, preparation, and shipment of aircraft engine components and other customer-owned materials. Since many of the items we handle are serialized and associated with specific engines and customers, careful verification and accurate recordkeeping are extremely important. We are looking for someone who is organized, attentive, and willing to take initiative. The right person should be comfortable recognizing when something does not look correct, asking questions, communicating issues promptly, and following a task through to completion rather than waiting for repeated direction. Main Duties Receive deliveries and confirm incoming materials against packing slips, manifests, purchase information, and other supporting records. Prepare materials for domestic and international shipment. Review identifying information such as part numbers, serial numbers, engine serial numbers (ESNs), quantities, customer details, and labels before materials are accepted, moved, packed, or shipped. Examine incoming and outgoing items for visible damage, shortages, incorrect identification, or other discrepancies. Prepare shipping cartons, pallets, crates, labels, packing documentation, and Bills of Lading. Arrange and follow up on pickups and deliveries with freight companies, couriers, drivers, and other transportation providers. Keep shipping and receiving records complete, accurate, and up to date. Help ensure customer-owned materials remain properly identified and separated by engine, project, or customer. Bring discrepancies to the appropriate team's attention before proceeding with the material. Track materials through the Shipping & Receiving process to help maintain proper traceability. Assist with the organization and staging of incoming and outgoing freight. Maintain the Shipping & Receiving area in a clean, orderly, and safe condition. Communicate with Operations, Packing, Quality, Customer Service, and other internal teams regarding material status and shipment requirements. Help identify opportunities to improve organization, workflow, and shipping processes. Follow established safety requirements and material-handling procedures. What We Are Looking For Previous experience in shipping, receiving, warehouse operations, logistics, distribution, inventory, or material handling is preferred. Strong ability to notice details and compare physical materials with written or electronic information. Good organizational skills and the ability to keep multiple tasks moving without losing track of priorities. A self-directed and proactive approach to work . Willingness to take responsibility for assigned tasks and follow through until they are completed. Ability to recognize a discrepancy and communicate it instead of making assumptions. Comfortable working in an active, fast-paced environment. Ability to consistently follow established procedures. Dependable attendance and punctuality. Good communication skills and ability to work effectively with different departments. Basic computer proficiency, including email, data entry, and spreadsheets. Preferred Experience The following experience is helpful but not required: Packing lists, shipping manifests, Bills of Lading, or other freight documentation. FedEx, UPS, freight forwarders, trucking companies, or other logistics providers. Domestic and international freight. Inventory control or warehouse management systems. Serialized materials or customer-owned inventory. Aviation, aerospace, aircraft components, engine parts, or MRO operations. Forklift or pallet jack operation. Forklift certification. Physical Requirements This position includes regular warehouse and material-handling activities. Candidates must be able to safely stand, walk, bend, reach, push, pull, carry, and move materials as required throughout the workday and safely handle items weighing up to 50 lbs., with or without reasonable accommodation . What Is Important in This Role Our customers trust Bonus Tech with aircraft engine components and other valuable materials. For that reason, this position requires more than simply moving boxes from one location to another. We need someone who understands the importance of: Checking before moving material. Information on the material, documentation, and shipment must agree before the process continues. Speaking up when something is wrong. Missing items, damaged material, incorrect quantities, identification problems, or documentation discrepancies should be reported before shipment or movement. Maintaining traceability. Materials must remain correctly identified and associated with the correct customer, engine, and project throughout the process. Taking initiative. The ideal employee notices what needs attention, communicates proactively, and helps keep the operation moving without requiring constant supervision. Join Bonus Tech If you have warehouse or logistics experience, enjoy staying organized, and take pride in doing things correctly, we would like to hear from you. Experience in aviation is a plus, but we are also willing to consider candidates from other industries who demonstrate reliability, attention to detail, initiative, and a willingness to learn.
