Our client is seeking a dedicated Logistics Associate to support their operations and ensure the seamless movement of goods. If you have a passion for logistics and a commitment to excellence, this opportunity is for you! Responsibilities of the Logistics Associate Operate forklifts safely and securely to move goods, pallets, and equipment. Load and unload pallets from trucks and storage areas to the warehouse. Verify that loads are secure and undamaged. Maintain a clean, neat, and safe work area. Complete the Forklift Operator Daily Checklist prior to operating. Follow department Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and others as required. Connect and disconnect rail cars daily, regardless of weather conditions. Assist with space allocation and utilization, transferring inventory when required. Perform other tasks as assigned. Requirements of the Logistics Associate Ability to read and comprehend English. Basic math skills. Proven experience as a forklift operator. Ability to prepare inventory and participate in monthly and year-end raw material physical inventories. Attention to detail. Good communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to safely and successfully perform essential job functions consistent with ADA, FMLA, and other standards. Must be able to stand for long periods, squat, bend, twist, and turn as needed. Good manual and mechanical dexterity. Ability to lift up to 55 pounds.
