Logistics Manager About the Role We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Assistant Logistics Coordinator to join our team in Mt. Airy, NC. In this full-time, on-site role, you will support the Logistics Manager in overseeing the day-to-day shipping operations, ensuring goods move efficiently, accurately, and in full compliance with applicable regulations and company standards. Key Responsibilities Plan and coordinate shipment routing to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery Prepare, review, and process shipping documentation (bills of lading, packing slips, customs paperwork, etc.) Monitor shipments to ensure adherence to compliance standards, including regulatory and company policies Communicate with carriers, vendors, and internal teams to coordinate pickup and delivery schedules Track and resolve shipping discrepancies, delays, or issues as they arise Maintain accurate records of shipments, routes, and related documentation Assist the Logistics Manager with reporting, scheduling, and other logistics-related administrative tasks Support continuous improvement of logistics processes and procedures Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field preferred Prior experience in logistics, shipping, or supply chain coordination preferred Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Familiarity with shipping documentation and compliance requirements is a plus Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); experience with logistics/transportation management software a plus Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to work on-site full-time in Mt.
