Respond with Compassionate Action We are seeking a Roving Medical Supply Chain Specialist to join our International Health Unit . Through humanitarian work, the goal and purpose of Samaritan's Purse are to help people in Jesus' name and share the Gospel of Jesus Christ. In the role of Roving Medical Supply Chain Specialist , you will have the opportunity to: Maintain a personal, active relationship with Jesus Christ and is a consistent witness for Jesus Christ. Provide technical, procurement- and product-selection expertise to country-office health programs, guiding forecasting, quantification, specification, vetting, and compliance-based purchasing of medical consumables, pharmaceuticals, and equipment. Lead Emergency Field Hospital (EFH) and other deployable medical-stock logistics, managing receiving, warehousing, issue, replenishment, pre-positioning, shelf-life rotation, and contingency planning to ensure rapid activation, sustained safe clinical operations, and uninterrupted patient care. Serve as the IHU technical liaison for externally funded programs and donor awards, supporting program design, budgeting, commodity specifications, documentation, and implementation to meet U.S. Government, Department of State, and other institutional donor requirements while protecting compliance and financial stewardship. Develop, standardize, and disseminate medical-supply chain tools, SOPs, commodity lists, kit structures, performance indicators, and training resources; analyze consumption, lead-times, stock-outs, and expirations, and mentor country-office and response personnel to build repeatable, scalable systems and reduce organizational risk. Other duties as assigned. What are the qualifications? Serve with Excellence As a qualified candidate, you will have the following skills and experience: Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Pharmacy, Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, International Development, Biomedical Technology, or a related discipline is required and a minimum of five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in medical supply chain, healthcare logistics, procurement, inventory management, humanitarian logistics, or comparable operations is preferred; or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience. Advanced graduate education or relevant professional certification in supply chain, logistics, procurement, or healthcare operations is strongly preferred. 12 credit hours of college-level Biblical Studies (required); if not already completed, an opportunity to meet and complete the requirement is available upon hire.
