Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Logistics Associate to join our team and drive operational excellence across our supply chain and distribution networks. In this role, you will be instrumental in managing inventory, coordinating warehouse distribution, overseeing transportation planning, and ensuring seamless order fulfillment. Your proactive approach will help optimize processes, enhance efficiency, and uphold the highest standards of regulatory compliance and safety. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a fast-paced logistics environment while developing your expertise in supply chain management. Responsibilities Coordinate and oversee shipping & receiving activities, ensuring timely and accurate order fulfillment using warehouse management systems and ERP platforms. Manage inventory control processes, including stock counting, cycle counts, and materials handling to maintain optimal stock levels. Plan and execute transportation logistics, including freight management, road transportation operations, and working with third-party logistics providers (3PL). Support procurement activities by sourcing materials, negotiating pricing, and managing supplier relationships to optimize costs. Utilize transportation management systems (TMS) for route planning, freight scheduling, and fleet management to maximize efficiency. Ensure compliance with international trade regulations, transportation safety regulations, and regulatory standards for all shipments. Collaborate with cross-functional teams on demand planning, category management, packaging, and process improvement initiatives to streamline operations. Requirements Proven experience in supply chain management, logistics management or warehouse distribution within a fast-paced environment. Strong knowledge of inventory management techniques, shipping logistics, and materials handling procedures. Technical proficiency with ERP systems such as AS400 or similar platforms; familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) is preferred. Hands-on experience with transportation planning tools including transportation management systems (TMS), freight scheduling software, and fleet management solutions. Ability to operate forklifts safely; certification is a plus. Excellent data analysis skills for supply chain analytics and demand forecasting. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently while maintaining attention to detail. Knowledge of international trade regulations, NVOCC (Non-Vessel Operating Common Carrier) operations, and customs compliance is advantageous. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications for reporting and communication purposes. Effective team management skills with a focus on fostering collaboration within logistics operations teams.
