Job Description

Position Summary The Logistics Coordinator supports daily shipping and logistics activities, ensuring customer orders are processed accurately and shipped on time. This role works closely with warehouse, customer service, transportation providers, and internal teams to manage order flow, resolve issues, and maintain a high level of service. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, comfortable working with data and reports, and able to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced distribution environment. Responsibilities Coordinate daily shipments and monitor order activity from release through delivery. Communicate with customers, carriers, and internal teams regarding shipment status, order changes, and delivery concerns. Track open orders, backlogs, inventory availability, and shipment performance. Investigate shipping issues, delivery delays, shortages, and discrepancies and work toward resolution. Maintain accurate information in ERP and shipping systems. Support invoicing, pricing, and order management processes. Prepare regular reports related to shipping activity, customer requirements, and operational performance. Work closely with warehouse and logistics teams to ensure customer commitments are met. Assist with inventory reviews, forecasts, and special projects as needed. Escalate service issues that could impact customer satisfaction or delivery performance. Provide administrative and operational support for distribution and shipping activities. Qualifications High school diploma required; additional education in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field is a plus. Experience in shipping, logistics, customer service, distribution, or supply chain operations. Experience working with ERP systems and shipping software preferred. Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel and Outlook. Excellent organizational and time-management skills. Strong attention to detail and follow-through. Ability to manage multiple tasks and changing priorities. Comfortable communicating with customers, carriers, and internal teams. Strong problem-solving and customer service skills. Work Environment Office environment within a warehouse or distribution setting. Frequent interaction with warehouse personnel, transportation providers, and customer support teams. Daily computer use and reporting activities. Fast-paced environment with changing priorities and deadlines.
Pay:
$55,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
