Position Summary Together, let's open the doors to the future. The Production Planner / Scheduler is responsible for planning, coordinating, and monitoring the flow of products through the manufacturing process to ensure efficient production and on-time delivery. Working closely with procurement, engineering, and production teams, the role ensures that manufacturing work orders, materials, and resources are properly scheduled and aligned with customer delivery requirements. The Production Planner / Scheduler also maintains accurate production data within the ERP system and monitors inventory and material consumption to support efficient production operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Production Planning & Scheduling Review incoming sales orders to determine product requirements and production needs Plan and coordinate production workflows to ensure efficient use of manufacturing resources Prioritize production operations to maximize performance and minimize delays Execute a pull-based production scheduling strategy based on confirmed customer orders . Production Flow Coordination Coordinate the flow of materials and components through the production cycle Monitor production schedules and adjust plans to address delays or bottlenecks Ensure manufacturing work orders are released to the production floor in alignment with production capacity Inventory & Material Management Monitor material consumption and inventory levels Identify material shortages or supply constraints that may impact production schedules Work closely with the Procurement team to ensure timely delivery of required components ERP & Data Management Maintain accurate product structures within the ERP system, including BOMs and routing information Configure work order routings and item structures to support automated generation of work orders and purchasing suggestions Ensure data accuracy related to items, products, and production parameters Production Monitoring Monitor production output and ensure alignment with the planned production schedule Track progress of manufacturing orders and identify potential schedule risks Support continuous improvement of production planning processes
Requirement Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in operations or business administration or related field preferred but education in Supply Chain Management, Operations, or a related field is the priority. Have at least 5 years of experience in production planning or scheduling in a manufacturing environment. Have strong knowledge of ERP or MRP systems, including BOM and item management. Have experience working with production planning, lean manufacturing principles, and quality processes. Understand ECN change management processes. Can read and interpret mechanical and electrical drawings. Have strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret operational data and trends. Demonstrate strong organizational and coordination skills Communicate effectively with cross-functional team, internal and external customers. Ability to read, write and communicate effectively in English. Proficient use of computer systems and software applications.
