$22.69 - $32.90 per hour This is a bargaining union position. Per the Collective Bargaining Agreement, current bargaining unit employees have priority consideration for this position if they apply within seven (7) days of the posting date. After this period, all applicants will be considered equally.

GENERAL SUMMARY:
The Surgical Scheduler works under the direction of the Practice Supervisor to ensure the accurate and timely completion of the duties and responsibilities of the position while complying with HIPAA and CVPH confidentiality policies. They are responsible to ensure excellent customer service to internal and external customers. Regularly use independent judgment to interpret and apply policies, procedures and practices. Duties include coordinating patient appointments, surgeries and/or other procedures, ancillary testing, and acting as an interface between surgeons and patients.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education/Skills Required:
1. High School Graduate is required. 2. Demonstrated proficiency with EPIC Ambulatory electronic health record (EHR) systems is required. 3. Background in outpatient healthcare environments is required. 4. Demonstrated customer service experience, the ability to communicate, and listen effectively. 5. Previous exposure to Microsoft Windows applications such as Outlook, Excel, and Word preferred. 6. The ability to multi-task and work with frequent interruptions preferred. 7. Exceptional organizational skills required. As applicable, the individual has training/competency in attending to the special needs and/or behaviors appropriate to the age of the patients for which care is being provided. Apply
