Job Description
Position Summary The Shipping & Logistics Clerk supports the daily shipping and logistics operations of the company. This position assists with preparing shipments, coordinating deliveries, processing returns, maintaining shipping records, and ensuring orders are shipped accurately and on time. The role also provides customer service support as needed to assist with order inquiries and customer issues. Key Responsibilities Prepare shipping documents, labels, bills of lading, and other shipping paperwork. Process and track outbound shipments for retail, dealer, wholesale, and e-commerce orders. Coordinate shipments and pickups with freight carriers and parcel services. Monitor shipment status and communicate updates to customers and internal departments. Process e-commerce and customer returns, including documentation and replacement shipments. Assist with freight claims and shipping-related issues. Maintain accurate shipping records and documentation. Provide customer service support during busy periods or as directed by management. Work closely with the Shipping & Logistics Manager, Customer Service, Warehouse, and Sales teams to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment. Perform other shipping, logistics, and administrative duties as assigned. Qualifications Strong organizational, communication, and computer skills. Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment. Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and customer service. Ideally one to three years of shipping, logistics, warehouse, or customer service experience preferred.
