Manufacturing Summary Hands-on logistics role supporting manufacturing ramp up. The Logistics Coordinator will coordinate domestic and international freight while also supporting shipping/receiving, material flow, packaging, inventory and warehouse activities during the early growth phase. As volume and headcount increase, the role is expected to transition toward greater logistics coordination, supervision and operational oversight. Responsibilities Coordinate inbound and outbound domestic and international freight shipments. Schedule, track and communicate shipment status with carriers, freight forwarders, dealers, project teams and internal stakeholders. Prepare and maintain shipping, receiving and freight documentation and support accurate system/ERP records. Support receiving, staging, kitting, packaging, crating/wrapping and preparation of finished goods for shipment. Operate a forklift and assist with loading/unloading trucks and material movement when required. Coordinate material flow between receiving, production, storage, packaging and outbound shipping. Support inventory accuracy, shipment consolidation and identification of freight or material-flow issues. Help establish repeatable logistics procedures, controls and performance measures as Charleston volume grows. Work cross-functionally with production, engineering, project/order teams and North American logistics partners. Qualifications Experience in logistics, shipping/receiving, freight coordination, warehouse operations or supply chain support. Working knowledge of domestic freight; exposure to international freight, forwarders or import/export processes strongly preferred. Hands-on willingness to support packaging, material handling, forklift operation and loading/unloading during the ramp-up phase. Strong organization, communication, follow-through and problem-solving skills. Comfort working with shipping documentation, inventory/ERP systems and multiple concurrent priorities. Ability to work effectively in a startup/ramp-up manufacturing environment. Preferred Background Manufacturing, architectural products, industrial distribution, automotive, aerospace or project-based logistics. International freight forwarding, consolidated ocean/air shipments, carrier coordination and shipment tracking. Forklift certification or demonstrated forklift/material-handling experience. ERP/MRP, inventory-control, warehouse-management or production-logistics experience.
